I'm always late, always. Why do I say that ? I really listened to Macklemore for the first time a week ago. Yeah, I know, I'm really not good for Music Updates when I'm late like that. But still. I loved it.
Before, when people asked me about music, I was like " You know, I really dislike rap. For me it's not really some music, just guys speaking weirdly, but NOT singing. " I really did listen to bad rap songs.
And now, after a few Mackelmore songs, I'm OK with it. You can't deny it. It's quite good. Something like :
- Good lyrics Amazing ones. Denouncing more things than a lot of others do.
- A real point of view. Not someone saying things just to shock people so as they remember him. But they stay rappers, so they will obviously try to shock.
- Really good instru.
I'll take Same Love and Wings as examples.

Shocking uh ? I would say no. Just the reality we don't want to see. Thinking about 2pac " Don't believe everything you hear, real eyes, realize, real lies. "
